We're currently searching for an accomplished Communications Specialist to act as the principal communications contact for a set of projects servicing the UK nuclear sector. Your task will be to spearhead comprehensive, multi-channel communications that support the delivery of a groundbreaking national skills program for the UK nuclear sector.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with our marketing team to foster industry relationships, create compelling content and potent messaging that drive engagement and support our objectives. You will convey our plans, priorities, and insightful response to a diverse array of stakeholders spanning employers, employees, educators, government departments, representative bodies, and media outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure our stakeholders are consistently informed about the latest developments in the nuclear skills plan.
• Identify regular opportunities for press/media coverage, while monitoring external news agendas for relevant leverage opportunities.
• Create and execute communications campaigns, measuring engagement.
• Promote our brand presence by maintaining effective relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• A degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, English, or Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in B2B media/communications, PR, or stakeholder comms, with a track record of managing impactful communication campaigns.
• Proven expertise in producing engaging content, copywriting, and social media management.
• Great attention to detail coupled with strong project management skills.
