You will be an integral and proactive member of the Finance Department, working across the Financial Operations Team. <br/> <br/> We are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer to provide a wide-ranging financial operations service on behalf of Salford City College Group, assisting in the provision of high quality and efficient financial support to colleagues and stakeholders. <br/> <br/> You will provide a comprehensive and efficient cash and treasury management service, ensuring all cash transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner, as well as being responsible for the College's bank reconciliation. <br/> <br/> You will provide a sales ledger and credit control service on behalf of the College, focusing predominantly on non-student debt. Under the direction of the Senior Finance Office, you, will ensure the timely and accurate processing of all sales invoices, and the administration of the College's credit control function to facilitate the prompt receipt of funds as they fall due. <br/> <br/> You will also provide support to the Purchase Ledger team as required to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department. <br/> <br/> We are looking for an individual with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude, a strong attention to detail, and with good communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. <br/> <br/> Whilst our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a finance department/setting, and in particular experience of working within cash management and/or sales ledger, we welcome applications from any individuals with a willingness to develop a career in finance.
