About the Department: The Analysis, Insights & Performance department at Arden University plays a vital role in driving data-driven decisions. By providing valuable insights, monitoring performance, and promoting innovation, the team supports the university's mission to enhance student outcomes and drive continuous improvement. About the Opportunity: As Head of Data Product Development, you’ll lead a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions such as data lakehouses, visualization tools, and AI applications. By understanding the university’s needs and shaping a strategic roadmap, you’ll foster a data-driven culture, enhance decision-making, and optimize business insights. Collaborate with peers across data and analytics functions to propel Arden’s data strategy and build solutions for today’s challenges and the future. About You: We are looking for a degree-qualified professional in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Science, or Statistics, with significant hands-on experience in product-focused environments. Alternatively, if you have a proven track record of success in progressively complex roles, demonstrating deep and specialised expertise, are also encourage you to apply. You must have: A strong focus on product development, with the ability to lead innovative solutions. Experience in a retail or customer-centric environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-value products. Skilled at engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive development and align with strategic goals. Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs and exceed expectations through effective product management. A creative and forward-thinking approach to product innovation, with the leadership skills to guide stakeholders and ensure successful outcomes.
