We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Hourly Paid Lecturer in Land Based Studies based at our Houghall Campus (with an expectation that you will be able to work across all 3 sites) on an Hourly Paid Basis.
Main Duties of the Role:
Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by facilitating an effective learning experience by delivery of a quality programme of practical learning to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours required for the animal industry.
This vacancy is suitable for those with or without previous teaching experience, as the college offers high quality mentoring and teacher training. Regular hours are available on a full or part time basis (term time). We particularly want to hear from those with the ability to teach and/or assess the following provision:
- Environmental/Countryside
- Arboriculture
- Agriculture
- Horticulture
- Animal Management
- Veterinary Nursing
Depending on your skill set and availability, the opportunity could provide regular or seasonal hours as the provision continues to grow.
Essential Requirement:
- Minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
- A passion for seeing individuals achieve and progress.
- Well organised, self-motivated
