You will join us on a fixed term, term time only basis to cover maternity leave (up to January 2026) and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £ £21,041.65 – £24,893.53 per annum actual salary (Full year, Full time £24,014 - £28,410 per annum) plus staff benefits. About the role: CRC Supported Learning is a vibrant department that helps support, teach and instruct young people to prepare for their adulthood. We are committed to ensuring the best outcomes for our students and to becoming an outstanding organisation for our learners. We are looking to appoint an Instructor to work in our Huntingdon Campus. The successful applicant will be working with our SLD students. The Instructor will teach students with Severe and Moderate Learning Difficulties, developing skills to prepare them for adulthood and developing their employability and skills across all levels. The successful candidate will need to have a positive outlook and a can-do approach as well as being able to adapt and be flexible at short notice. Also, the candidate should have a strong sense of teamwork, good problem-solving skills and be helpful and understanding towards the students and colleagues. For this role the applicants must be able to demonstrate SEN experience and are required to have a minimum of L2 English and maths. A teaching qualification at least L3 would be essential for this role. You will be expected to do additional training in epilepsy including administering emergency medication.
