We are looking for a passionate person to join the team. </div> <div> <br/> You will be motivated and will be able to lead, deliver and facilitate high quality career related workshops and sessions for young people across Bristol. You will need to be enthusiastic and resilient and able to prioritise workload to targets. </div> <div> <br/> You will work in an established team within the employment skills and life-long learning division of Bristol City Council. You will need to be passionate about finding solutions for enabling young people to improve long term career progression, and creative and curious about how we can improve our service, to coordinate and deliver high quality careers provision and activities. </div> <div> <br/> You will work with young people from year 7-11 and potentially those with an EHCP to facilitate these sessions in collaboration with employers. You will be expected to liaise and engage with schools, employers, and organisations to develop, deliver, and evaluate, meaningful careers activity. </div> <div> <br/> We are looking for someone with significant experience and passion in an at least one of the below areas: </div> <ul> <li>Employer engagement.</li> <li>Supporting vulnerable learners within an alternative learning provision or specialist provision.</li> <li>Developing new and innovative careers sessions for groups of learners across secondary schools.</li> </ul><br/> <div> <br/> You will be making a positive contribution and supporting young people to find suitable opportunities to help them reach their full potential. </div> <div> <br/> Experience of working in other similar roles would be beneficial, as well as a knowledge of current Bristol education, employment, and training opportunities. You will need to demonstrate the ability to absorb, understand, and apply relevant policy and legislation.<br/> <br/> This is a public facing position that require travel across Bristol and surrounding areas each day. For most of the week you will be based across secondary schools and may need to be on site by the start of the school day.
