We are looking for a
Learning & Development Manager to join our Central People & Culture team, overseeing training in our six London properties and supporting our locations abroad.
Working pattern: full time / 40 hours a week / Monday to Friday / 9am to 5:30pm

As our Learning & Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping our training initiatives, ensuring our hotel teams' growth and alignment with our core values and standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and deliver impactful training programmes while driving our company’s culture and success. You’ll have the unique chance to travel 4-5 times a year to stunning locations including Guernsey, Ireland, Scotland, and Geneva, collaborating with teams across the UK and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programmes aligned with our core values and support our strategic goals
- Oversee and coordinate training sessions, ensuring content remains relevant and engaging
- Mentor and support the L&D Coordinator, empowering and inspiring them to excel in their role
- Support and collaborate with our departmental trainers to enhance the effectiveness of our on-the-job training and departmental inductions
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis to develop and implement a comprehensive L&D plan
- Audit and refine training content to ensure it meets compliance standards and industry best practices
- Ensure our training platform Mapal OS is up to date

What are we looking for in a Learning & Development Manager?
- HR degree (desirable but not essential)
- CIPD/L&D qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in training & delivering courses (in-house and external)
- Customer service experience
- Operational manager experience if no L&D/HR experience
