Comprised of a number of teams, covering HR Business Partnering, Recruitment, Employment Services, HR Systems, Learning and Development, Organisational Development, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Legal Services – the People, Culture and Legal function at LSBU is at the heart of the delivery of our ambitious 2025 People and Culture Strategy, with its vision of building an inclusive culture and a first-class employee and student experience.
This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to play a vital role in shaping and leading learning and development. From your passion to build an agile learning culture where everyone can thrive you will work with key stakeholders across the LSBU group to drive learning and development throughout the organisation.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in Higher Education Institutions or similar organisations
- Experience in developing and delivering learning and development strategies and programmes
- Experience in commissioning learning and development, ensuring ROI and value for money
- Experienced in managing learning management systems, including reporting and analysing data
- Ability to deliver e-learning and blended solutions
- Demonstrable personal credibility which enables influencing, negotiation and giving advice to senior leaders and colleagues at all levels
The ideal candidate will be an experienced learning and development professional with a track record of delivering learning and development solutions across the organisation. Experience is organisational development is desirable as the Learning and Organisational Development (OD) team cover both learning and OD interventions.
