We’re looking for an expert Learning Facilitator to join our Automotive and Engineering teams at Gateshead College and make a significant impact!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Expert Learners: Promote critical thinking and independent learning.
- Facilitate Learning: Deliver engaging group and one-to-one tutorials, provide study skills, numeracy, and literacy support.
- Support Personal and Social Development: Help learners develop essential personal and social skills.
- Track and Monitor Progress: Conduct regular one-to-one reviews to ensure learners are safe, supported, and on track with their qualifications and well-being.
- Collaborate with Colleagues
- Work with team members to enhance learner experience.
Role Expectations:

- Support Learners: Plan and deliver effective learning activities, monitor progress, and set achievable targets.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Level 3 education with strong ICT, numeracy, and literacy skills.
- Effective communication, time management, and technological skills.
- Willingness to undertake a teaching and learning qualification.
