We have an opportunity for a talented, dynamic, and committed teacher of Psychology to join our Access to Higher Education team. You will be required to teach our Access to Higher Education students, and it is expected that you will have previous experience of teaching Psychology at Level 3.
You will be an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner who is able to successfully motivate and engage adult learners through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies. A relevant degree or equivalent is essential, and applicants must already have a teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and demonstrate an inclusive commitment to the development of all your students.
The successful candidate will have high expectations of both academic achievement and student engagement and be excellent at managing the progress of learners throughout their course.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Degree Level qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to achieve within a set period from appointment).
- Hold GCSE English & Math (A-C) or equivalent.
- Have experience of teaching Psychology at Level 3.
