Leicester College's Apprenticeship and Commercial Operations Department is seeking a part-time lecturer to deliver on their Engineering Apprenticeship programme. An experience of Computer Aided Design (CAD) is also essential.As a Lecturer, you will deliver a variety of units across the Engineering apprenticeship standard. This apprenticeship is part of the recently developed Apprenticeship Standards and is a popular course that is offered by the college. You will have the opportunity for developing and enhancing this programme. You will also work as part of a team, provide feedback in a way that motivates individuals and help learners overcome potential barriers to progress and achieve. We are looking for a positive, proactive, solutions focused individual to help us drive the provision to support our journey to outstanding. Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards, E - portfolio’s (Smart Assessor) and experience of working with students would be beneficial along with excellent communication skills and a 'can do' approach to tasks. QualificationsYou must hold at least a Level 3 qualification within Machining/Engineering.Achieved a Level 2 qualification or equivalent in maths and English.You must have relevant experience within the Engineering industry.Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one.
