You will also induct the partners and support them in delivering a commercially successful programme, such as certifications, bootcamps, degrees and short courses to the platform for use by Consumers and Enterprises, against an agreed target. The core aim of the role is to ensure FutureLearn expands its influence and portfolio of degree courses through effective and efficient marketing, ease of use services and data to facilitate the growth. You will be a critical member of our Education Partnerships team, with working knowledge of digital trends and developments in the sector, and reporting to the Director of Partnerships, Education. You will work to promote and deliver micro-credentials, Degrees and other qualifications through a non-hosted and affiliated marketing experience. You will collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the delivery of a full suite of products and additionally available services for partners. You will also provide support to the wider activities of the Partnerships team and, depending on experience, may take on responsibility for growing pathways across one of our core areas.What does success look like?Support Partnership Managers and Business Development Managers in identifying and onboarding new degrees, certificates, and micro-credentials to the platform, ensuring the achievement of company financial targets.Understand partners' strategies and priorities while managing the handover of affiliate opportunities from Partnership Managers, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.Oversee the integration of partners into the Performance Marketing system, including scheduling technical integration calls and clearly communicating requirements.Ensure partners fully utilise the degree leads and enrolments provided via FutureLearn’s dashboards and analytics, translating these into revenue:Provide data-driven advice on best practices.Collaborate with partners to optimise their processes.Propose and secure upselling opportunities around enrolment generation and management as needed.Work closely with the Finance team to maintain accurate billing processes.Collaborate with the Marketing team to manage the day-to-day operations that drive program development, including homepage banners, emails, organic and social marketing, PR, and visibility campaigns.Understand the target audience for this offering and develop strategies to recruit new partners while supporting Partnership Managers in retaining existing customers.Plan and prioritise effectively to meet quarterly targets for Affiliate Degree opportunities and identify further service offerings in collaboration with Partnership Managers.Coordinate with the Content team to ensure a balanced and diverse portfolio of certificates is available on the site.Stay informed about developments in the Higher Education and Industry sectors, both globally and within the UK, becoming a trusted advisor to partners.What you will bring to the table:A genuine passion for education and lifelong learning.Proven ability to sell Software as a Service (SaaS), preferably within the Tech or Education sectors.Understanding of the requirements and execution of a performance marketing program.3-5 years of experience in building strong partnerships (account management/business development), ideally with universities or similar organisations.Experience in identifying, managing, and negotiating commercial transactions, including contracts, service agreements, and KPIs.Ability to leverage market insights to guide partners on course selection and promotional strategies, utilising internal expertise.Strong collaborative skills, with a flexible approach to changes and direction, maintaining a positive attitude.Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills, capable of working under pressure to meet performance targets.Effective time management and the ability to work both in-office and remotely.Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage and report on sales opportunities and deals.Confident in delivering presentations to groups, addressing key messages, and handling senior academic stakeholder questions effectively.Desirable: Familiarity with university VLE/LMS systems, student registration, and assessment processes to engage in early discussions regarding FutureLearn’s academic programs.What happens next?Ready to go for it?
