We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated trainer to deliver heat pump and other plumbing/heating related courses. Your role will be pivotal in training the next generation of tradespeople in Renewable Technologies such as heat pumps and solar thermal/ PV in first class facilities with state-of-the-art technology.
There’s no need to be a qualified teacher. If you are passionate about what you do and hold a Level 3 qualification in your trade, we can support you to learn the rest
– including the chance to formally qualify as a lecturer if you want to!
Already a qualified teacher? Then you’ll enjoy our small class sizes and the supportive atmosphere! Our Teaching Skills Academy will help you to develop your practice further, or we’ll support you to gain management skills if that’s your next step.
Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits to our employees including generous pension and holiday schemes (with potential Christmas closure days), continued professional development, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, cycle/tech scheme and much more.
