We are seeking an individual to support the continuing success of our Skills for Work provision. In this role you will manage a curriculum across several sectors including health and care and coordinate a team of teaching staff that deliver across the programmes and projects from Entry level to Level 3.
Our curriculum supports personal and professional development of adults who wish to switch career or would like to upskill to enable career progression. The courses vary in level, delivery model and duration and are continually being adapted to meet the needs of students, our communities and the skills demand within our local labour market.
You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of programmes and projects within this exciting and varied adult curriculum and continue to build on the excellent relationships with stakeholders including the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), local employers including the NHS and other local businesses to promote the opportunities available to their employees.
The successful candidate should have a passion for adult learning and be able to convey this to staff and students. Previous experience of teaching, learning and assessment of adult programmes, along with experience of being a team leader are essential.
