This role will hold key responsibility for leading the planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum that effectively prepares all learners to be successful in their intended next steps.</p><p><b>What will I be doing as a Programme Leader?</b></p><p>The Programme Leader will work in close partnership with the Head of Curriculum and Engagement to plan, develop and maintain an engaging learning environment and to provide line management to delivery staff whilst maintaining a fractional teaching responsibility.</p><p><b>Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:</b></p><ul> <li>Provide consistently high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that models Nacro’s high standards and aspirations and leads to excellent outcomes for all learners.</li> <li>Ensure that all learners receive appropriate and effective support, advice, and guidance throughout their programme, including pastoral and academic support where needed.</li> <li>Provide effective line management of the programme team, ensuring that all employees are clear on their roles and responsibilities, and that team members are appropriately supported and developed.</li> <li>Support the development and maintenance of the learning environment including in relation to facilities and resources to ensure a high-quality, industry standard learning experience.</li> <li>Work in close partnership with the Head of Curriculum and Engagement to develop and implement a high-quality, innovative, and responsive curriculum that meets the needs of learners and employers.</li> <li>Ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively and efficiently by employees, using a range of appropriate teaching and learning strategies, technologies, and resources.</li></ul><p><b>Essential requirements for this role:</b></p><ul> <li>Knowledge and experience of quality and regulatory frameworks and practices including Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework</li> <li>Significant experience of delivering teaching, learning and assessment to young people in the Further Education and Skills sector. The ideal candidate will have a QTS, a PGCE or a DET L5 teaching qualification.</li> <li>An IQA assessor qualification is preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge and application of contemporary teaching theory and practice.</li> <li>Experience of curriculum design and development.</li> <li>Knowledge of the Further Education and Skills sector and the related funding and regulatory frameworks.</li> <li>Experience of collaborative working and joint practice development to drive and inform continuous improvement.</li> <li>Experience of coaching, mentoring and/or supporting employees to drive improvement and development.</li> <li>Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, including legislation and guidance, and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of learners, particularly those who may be vulnerable or at risk.</li> <li>English and mathematics qualifications at level 2 or above.</li> <li>Enhanced DBS - Adult & Child barred list.</li></ul><p>What are the next steps?</p><p>Please click on the ‘Apply now’ button to apply online.</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: £30,326.00-£32,656.00 per year</p><p>Education:</p><ul> <li>Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul> <li>Nursery: 1 year (preferred)</li> <li>Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)</li> <li>Childcare: 1 year (preferred)</li> <li>Management: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul> <li>Driving Licence (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p><p>Reference ID: SS3022</p></div></body></html>
