Programme Manager – Apprenticeships Remote – with regular travel to our UK offices when required Full Time, Permanent Salary - £33,000-£40,000 Here at Serco, we are looking for a Programme Manager who will support the Learning and Development team in creating a high quality, consistent learning offer for the business, providing brilliant training in a timely manner that supports in raising capability and meeting our business strategy. You will be an agent for change, influencing key stakeholders, making decisions and recommendations on what improvements can be made within learning programmes. As well as, working with internal teams to enhance the experience and outcomes of learners by the development of resources and improvement in assessment practice and teaching strategies. As part of this you’ll: Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Learning Programmes. Promote, lead and manage the end-to-end process for learning Programmes working collaboratively with Divisional and Group colleagues, Awarding Organisation and external Stakeholders including our partnership providers. Work with key stakeholders to provide recommendations for the design, development and approval of appropriate resources and course materials to support Learner Journeys within curriculum programmes. Monitor and improve outcomes across programmes to meet strategic objectives, identifying and addressing key themes and supporting performance management with robust improvement plans. Support and implement standardisation and CPD in line with the annual plan for the learning programmes within their responsibility through collaboration with the delivery team. Optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of delivery of these development activities where possible by using online services and support tools. Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to maximise learning potential for all. Contribute where applicable in cross sector / function projects to support the delivery of the strategic plan. What you’ll need to do the role: Qualifications / experience in Internal Quality Assurance and / or Internal Verification processes. Experience in working with accredited qualifications and apprenticeships. Experience in supporting, training and development of skills to ensure high quality delivery. Good knowledge and use of IT and learning technologies. Strong communication and self-motivation skills Ability to manage small projects, meeting targets and fixed deadlines. Excellent organisation and time management skills Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Proven ability to build collaborative internal and external relationships is desirable. Experience of managing (people or projects) within WBL / education environment is desirable.
