We’re working with some of the biggest employers and training providers in the UK and are looking to appoint a Quality Executive within our existing apprenticeships quality team. The Quality Executive will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of end point assessments. This includes conducting internal quality assurance activities, organising and leading standardisation meetings and activities, reviewing reasonable adjustments, and coaching internal end point assessors (IEPAs) to ensure continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Internal Quality Assurance (IQA): Conduct IQA activities to ensure assessments meet regulatory and organisational standards. Monitor and evaluate the quality and consistency of assessor judgements, providing feedback and recommendations. Maintain robust audit trails and contribute to compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Ofqual, ESFA). Standardisation Meetings and Activities: Plan, schedule, and deliver standardisation meetings to ensure consistency across assessment practices. Develop and share best practice resources, including guidance documents and exemplar materials. Analyse outcomes from standardisation activities and implement actions to address gaps or inconsistencies. Reasonable Adjustments: Review applications for reasonable adjustments, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance and internal policies. Provide recommendations and approvals in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate records. Coaching and Development of IEPAs: Analyse feedback from quality assurance to identify training needs for IEPAs. Deliver coaching and support aimed at improving assessor performance and consistency. Monitor the impact of interventions. General Quality Assurance Duties: Support the development and review of quality policies, procedures, and guidance. Contribute to quality improvement plans. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Skills & Experience The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate a track record in quality assurance within a regulated training, end point assessment or awarding organisation and who takes ownership for their own objectives. Some of the key attributes we are looking for include: Detail oriented, task focussed with a focus on get things right on time, first time. Good IT skills, particularly with the Microsoft Suite. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Professional, courteous, passionate, flexible, pragmatic, personable with a confident, ‘can do’ attitude. Strong understanding of reasonable adjustment regulations and practices. Innovative, inspiring, incisive individual who works with integrity. A relevant qualification such as: Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
