Hours: 37 hours per week (1.0 fte)
Salary: £42,842 per annum. Plus generous benefits, including:
- 55 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

- Financial support towards teacher training course fees if you do not have a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE)
About the role
This is an opportunity to join a relatively new team of Quality Improvement Coaches who support the Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessment in the implementation of our TLA strategy. The primary purpose of the role is to coach and support colleagues involved in the delivery of education, to be brilliant in all they do.
About the Person
With a proven track record of excellent teaching, you will be a role model to others; demonstrating the highest standards in teaching, learning and assessment. The role will have a teaching commitment of the equivalent of two days a week (350 hours per annum). With the ability to coach and support teachers and teams to secure improvements in the quality of TLA, you will have a love of pedagogy, as the role will also require you to support the Head of TLA to design and deliver high quality CPD which is linked to current research and thinking. Ultimately, we are looking for enthusiastic, passionate teachers who simply love teaching!

1. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
The College is exempt from the provisions of the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974, by virtue of the fact that postholders have access to children and young people, and to vulnerable adults.

This is a regulated role (e.g. those roles providing teaching, training, instructing, advice and guidance, or supervision of children).
