About this role This is a unique project role which will be centred around becoming a Senior Lecturer in Nursing within our new and innovative School alongside working closely with NHS/Primary care and private health care partners. The focus is to promote engagement with the quality assurance compliance from the regulators and across relevant work-related learning experiences, associated research and ensuring our developing apprenticeships become embedded in the School. As a Senior Lecturer in Nursing, you be working with our colleagues in the Clinical Education department in the NHS Sussex Integrated Care board to continue our expansion activity in apprenticeships from the School of Nursing and Allied Health. Your focus will be to contribute to the development of a collaborative partnership/network which will enhance apprenticeship clinical learning for both Nursing and Allied Health, in particular, Speech and Language. You will have a focus on enabling primary care/SLT providers to join the collaboration, ensuring engagement which aligns with the necessary NMC/HCPC and apprenticeship requirements. About you Ideally candidates will have knowledge, experience and skills within the field of Apprenticeships and Nursing education alongside extensive partnership liaison experience. You will need to be a current Registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Council, and have demonstrable expertise in innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students. The successful candidate will need to be motivated, proactive and engage with collaborative working both as a team and with wider partners. We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers. As such, we not only focus on the acquisition of caring science knowledge, but also on vital transferable skills, such as compassionate leadership and robust digital skills.
