Bishop Auckland College has an exciting opportunity to join our construction department as a Skills Coach / Technician who will be responsible for supporting a range of college courses and programmes within the relevant curriculum area.

Part of your role will be coaching students to enhance their knowledge, skills and behaviours during their time in college as well as working closely with construction staff in the organisation of materials and resources for practical sessions, stocktaking and maintenance of workshop machines.

The successful candidate will be required to possess a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject. It is desirable that the candidate will also possess IT qualification, Level 2 Equality & Diversity and PTTLS/CTLLS (or willing to work towards in 2 years).
Applicants will also have knowledge and experience relating to working within the specialist area.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
