Vision West Nottinghamshire College's Construction & Building Services apprenticeship provision is located at our state-of-the-art Station Park Construction & Building Services Centre. Our dedicated team collaborates closely with employers to deliver top-tier apprenticeships in Construction Crafts and Building Services, guiding learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. We are on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) team. You will be responsible for delivering both theory and practical sessions, as well as conducting workplace reviews. In this role, you’ll plan, deliver, and assess key vocational programmes, including commercial activities, while championing the development of apprentices and supporting them to succeed across a variety of programmes. Alongside teaching, you will assess and review apprentices undertaking ACR Apprenticeships, both in the workplace and at our Station Park Centre. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring apprentices’ progress through intermediate and advanced levels, conducting regular site visits to apprentices and employers, and coordinating with technical staff to support learners with the knowledge they need. Ideally, you’ll be based in Mansfield or nearby, allowing for a manageable daily commute to our Station Park Centre. We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and driven individual with a strong sense of autonomy. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is a proven track record of meeting targets. Industrial experience within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration sector is essential, as well as previous experience in teaching or assessing in a training or FE setting. This is a hands-on role, involving both practical and theory-based teaching at our Centre, alongside assessments at employer locations. Confidence in working with young people and leading practical sessions is key.
