The role involves delivering training in construction projects, personal and social development topics to enhance employability skills, and basic digital skills needed in both daily life and the construction industry, to learners primarily studying construction at Level 1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating assessment activities in both group settings and one-to-one training sessions. They will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality training and assessments to students. We are seeking someone proactive, capable of building positive relationships with learners, and who can effectively support them in improving their employability skills and excelling in their chosen industry and everyday life. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and independently, are essential. While the post-holder doesn’t need to be a digital expert, they should have an interest in digital technology, the ability to visualise its applications, and the motivation to support students in developing their digital fluency in the context of construction and daily life. Additionally, the post-holder should be confident in delivering foundational training on personal development topics, enabling learners to deepen their knowledge of these essential subjects, equipping them for success in both work and life in modern Britain. The College seeks a highly self-motivated, energetic, and driven individual who can work both independently and effectively as part of a team. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to demonstrate the achievement of targets and goals effectively. The role requires the post-holder to uphold the College’s values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, High Expectations, and Responsibility.
