Term Time : Early Learning and Childcare Trainer / Assessor
Reports to: Early Learning and Childcare Manager
Responsible for:
As an Early Learning and Childcare Assessor, you will have responsibility of leading, developing, and mentoring learners through a variety of ELC qualifications and training opportunities, whilst leading and expanding our accredited vocational programmes.

Role of an Early Learning and Childcare Trainer / Assessor:
We are seeking a passionate, committed, and professional Trainer / Assessor, who is enthusiastic about delivery of quality, experiential learning practices for individuals attracted to a career within the Early Learning and Childcare sector. This includes:
- Ensuring the emotional wellbeing of individuals is at the heart of everyday practice.
- Collaborating and connecting with individuals, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure relationships are at the heart of everyday practice.
- Delivering experiential learning sessions to varied group of learners, both face to face and remote, within schools and work environments.
- Monitoring, reviewing, inspiring and supporting learners undertaking school programmes, vocational apprenticeship programmes and industry coaching.
- Showing a commitment to ensuring professional development remains relevant and up to date through accessing current research.
- To ensure full compliance with GDPR and other mandatory regulations.

Essential Skills and Experience
- BA Childhood Practice or PDA Childhood Practice Level 9 (or equivalent)
- Experience of leading a team within an ELC setting (or similar)
- Driving license and own car is essential.
- A strong desire to support, mentor and guide individuals working towards vocational qualifications.
- Be willing to work towards L&D9DI (or higher) or equivalent.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience of coaching and mentoring individuals
- L&D9DI (or higher) or equivalent
- Verifying Qualification (L&D11)
Package:
- Salary Banding – £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (pro rata)
