As a result of our continued success delivering training to unemployed adults, we are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic full-time trainer to deliver a range of employability qualifications.
We provide training for unemployed adults 19 and over, to help them gain the skills needed to get the job they want - whatever their stage of life. Delivery is split between taught classroom sessions and workshop online eLearning with online exams.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic trainer assessors who able to deliver topics such as – customer service, career planning, confidence and self-esteem, CVs and Covering letter, interview skills, conflict resolution, motivation etc.
The applicant will need to have recent current experience of delivering accredited qualifications. This role will involve upskilling adults to gain the qualifications and personal skills that are required to be successful when applying for jobs.
You will be expected to develop session plans to meet individual learner needs and deliver innovative sessions that motivate some of the most disadvantaged adults.
You will need to have a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet assessment deadlines and timely completion of paperwork.
Candidates need to have;
- Level 3 vocational qualification
- Level 2 English and maths
- A good level of general IT skills
It is desirable that candidates will have:
- A recognised teaching or training qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Experience of delivering training to adult learners
Candidates will be expected to attend ongoing training and development activities to maintain competence in teaching practice and the subject area. Experience of carrying out internal quality assurance activities and providing information advice and guidance would also be an advantage but not essential.
The successful applicant will be expected to take part in ongoing CPD in teaching practice and occupational knowledge.
