Role Information Our schools Provision actively supports and complements all local school curricula with young learners (14-16 years old). Our intent is to deliver outcome drive school initiatives, adding value to learner development, enhancing school performance, and supporting nationally recognised priorities. We understand that many of our learners have diverse career aspirations; therefore, we ensure that qualifications are fit for purpose and facilitate appropriate knowledge acquisition allowing schools the option of implementing 1-, 2- or 3-year qualification-based programmes. A good understanding of the importance of empathy DUTIES You support learners across both provisions on in school and centre-based delivery. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, across a range of level 2 qualifications to progress learners and support learner achievement. The role of KS4 delivery is spilt between academic delivery and fitness and outdoor activities to help support the development of physical and mental health. As well as teambuilding, confidence and resilience. To develop lessons that are innovative, planned, engaging and enjoyable to maintain motivation and develop strategies to support learners’ engagement and stretch and challenge those who attend our centres to be the best version of themselves in a safe, secure and challenging environment. Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours You will act as a positive role model for all of our learners, colleagues and peers to follow Display a positive approach to fitness and exemplify the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle to inspire our learners to take positive and progressive changes to their own lives to support and facilitate performance. Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and be vigilant to potential concerns and risks at all times and you will be expected to act as the first point of contact for all safeguarding areas and welfare of the learners ensuring that confidentiality and professionalism are displayed at all times. Ensure that a 95% attainment rate of all learners is achieved. Ensure that timely and accurate recording and reporting of all learners progression is conducted via daily and weekly reports. Provide fun, engaging and differentiated activities for all abilities. Attend parents evening, options evening as requested by the organisation and partners. Provide written and verbal and written feedback to parents, schools and partners as requested by school. Act as a point of contact for all schools to ensure that open communication is maintained to support learner development/progression. Act as a safeguarding lead for all learners. Deliver high-quality, innovative and contextualised lessons to support engagement and learning. Undertake all mandatory training as directed by LCG and following educational requirements.
