We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Training Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our training programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating the delivery of training services, ensuring compliance with relevant awarding bodies, and achieving company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: · Staff Management: o Recruit, train, and supervise a team of trainers and support staff. o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure staff are meeting goals and maintaining exacting standards. o Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all training sessions. o Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. · Training Delivery Coordination: o Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of training programs, both in-person and online. o Ensure all training materials and resources are prepared and available ahead of sessions. o Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to customise training programs to meet specific needs. o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes. · Operational Management: o Develop and maintain operational procedures to streamline training delivery processes. o Manage budgets related to training operations, ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality. o Oversee the logistics of training events, including venue bookings, equipment setup, and participant registration. o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to training delivery i.e. awarding bodies/OFSTED/ESFA/DFE. o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of requirements set by relevant awarding bodies. o Ensure all training programs meet the standards and criteria established by these bodies. o Prepare and manage documentation required for audits and evaluations by awarding organisations. o Implement changes to training programs as necessary to maintain accreditation and certification statuses. · KPI Management: o Develop and monitor KPIs related to training delivery, staff performance, and client satisfaction. o Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. o Report on KPI progress to senior management, providing insights and recommendations. o Align training operations with company goals and objectives to drive overall performance. · Client and Stakeholder Engagement: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding training delivery matters. o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. o Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to align training delivery with client expectations. · Continuous Improvement: o Identify opportunities to improve training programs and operational processes. o Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in training and development. o Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights from participants and trainers for continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications and experience: · Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. · 5+ years of experience in training operations, staff management, or a related role. · Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. · Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Understanding of Apprenticeships & EPA Requirements · Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. · Proficiency in learning management systems (Onefile) and other training delivery tools. · Familiarity with KPI development and monitoring. · Knowledge of compliance requirements set by awarding bodies. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances. Desirable : · Master’s degree in a relevant field. · Experience in the private education or corporate training industry. · Experience with accreditation processes and maintaining certifications.
