Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vocational Training Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocational education and training, with a proven track record of managing and delivering successful apprenticeship programs. As the Vocational Training Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and quality assurance of our vocational training initiatives. You will work closely with employers, apprentices, and internal teams to ensure the highest standards of training and support are maintained completing developmental support and guidance for a team of Vocational Tutors to meet company KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage vocational training programs in alignment with industry standards and employer needs, managing a team of Vocational Tutors.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of vocational tutors.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in apprenticeship standards and funding rules.
- Collaborate with employers to identify training needs and develop customised apprenticeship solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Provide support and guidance to apprentices throughout their training journey, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention.
- Prepare and present reports on training outcomes and performance to senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including employers, apprentices, and industry bodies.
- Performance management of team and KPIs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience in vocational training and apprenticeship program management.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding mechanisms, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and previous experience.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance processes in a training environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
