We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic individual who can support key skills development as well as grow and accelerate our work placement opportunities.<br/><br/><strong>About The Candidate<br/><br/></strong>The successful candidate will be confident, charismatic and an exemplary communicator. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to assist students in their development of key industry related skills along with the sourcing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of work placements. Coaches in this role are responsible for student achievement against planned placement hours and as a result, the successful candidate must be able to confidently speak to a range of employers across the sector to develop opportunities for these to be carried out. The successful applicant will possess the ability to support students to achieve their career goals, with high expectations, that enthuse and inspire learners to achieve the best possible outcomes in preparation for their next steps.<br/><br/>This post offers the successful candidate will be primarily based out of our Ashington Campus however, on occasion, will be required to travel to, and work from our site in Berwick<br/><br/><strong>About The College<br/><br/></strong>Northumberland College is the only college in the county serving, the communities of Northumberland, offering a diverse curriculum offer from Entry level to Level 6, discrete SEND provision and Apprenticeships. We have three campuses from Berwick near the Scottish Border, Ashington and Kirkley Hall, close to Ponteland and in May 2022, Ofsted rated as a Good provider with Outstanding Personal Development, and are the top Performing Land based College in the Northeast.
