Salary: £35,425 - £46,143 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
Hours: 36 hours per week, all year round (39 working weeks)

We have eight vibrant community-based College Centres across London and Surrey where committed, specialist teams deliver a range of programmes to meet the needs of over 400 students.
Job Description
You will work as part of our dedicated team providing specialist teaching and support to students with special needs.
Your role will involve planning and delivering educational programmes, managing teaching teams and ensuring the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective planning of teaching/learning within designated curriculum areas.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
- Ensure that equipment/materials required for teaching/learning are safe and appropriate.
- Commitment to upholding the ethos of The Hill College and Academy Trust.
- Effective management and supervision of team members.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent.
- Recent Outstanding/Good teaching experience with students with special needs.
- Able to demonstrate effective planning of educational programmes for adults with special needs.
- Able to manage and direct teaching teams.
- Able to communicate a commitment to the view that students with special needs can and do achieve.
- Able to work successfully with students who may exhibit challenging behaviour.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,425 - £46,143 per annum, plus London Weighting Allowance.
