Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Apprenticeships Tutor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching and tutoring.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- To create and deliver high-quality teaching sessions that help learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required by health standards.
- To provide coaching and skills support through developmental feedback to ensure successful timely completion of End Point Assessment (EPA).
- To work with a caseload of apprentices, visiting them on-site in the workplace, to help them gather evidence such as observations, reflective accounts, witness testimonies, professional discussions, and other relevant information to support EPA requirements.
- To educate employers about their responsibilities regarding on-the-job and off-the-job training for apprentices.
You will need to have:
- Experience in assessing within Apprenticeship Standards
- Experience of working in the Engineering industry and appropriate working environment
- Experience of supporting learners through assignments and assessments
- Vocationally relevant qualification at level 3 or above
- An assessment qualification D32/D33 A1 or TAQA
- An internal verification qualification D34 V1 or TAQA
- An appropriate teaching qualification
