Salary: £27,102 per annum
The Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English and Maths Skills Coach to join our team. As an integral member of the English and Maths Team, you will work closely with Curriculum staff to deliver high-quality learning workshops and support services.
In this key role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving individual learner progress in English and/or Maths skills through facilitated workshops and support contexts, ensuring consistent good progress against starting points.
- Providing ongoing support to students through approved support plans.
This is a rewarding position that allows you to make a tangible impact on learners' lives. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the English and Maths Team and wider college departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed as an English and Maths Skills Coach, you will have:
- Experience working with young people and understanding barriers that affect their achievement.
- Previous successful experience in operational delivery, effective planning, and monitoring performance against action plans and targets, particularly with young people.
