Job Overview
The t2 group seeks an experienced Health and Social Care professional to join their team as a Referral Assessor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of apprenticeship learners achieves their health and social care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5.
Salary Information
This position offers a salary of £27,000 per annum, plus a bonus opportunity of up to £5,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct progressive visits with every learner each month, supporting, motivating, and encouraging them to achieve their qualification within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrate effective teaching and learning sessions in line with the curriculum approach to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours defined in the apprenticeship standards.
- Support learners to achieve their maths and English Functional Skills.
- Promote and safeguard learner health and wellbeing.
- Recognise and report any safeguarding concerns relating to staff, learners, adults at risk, or children.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current, extensive, and relevant vocational experience (minimum 2 years) in the adult/elderly health & social care sector, including Dementia and Learning Disabilities at a Senior Carer level or above.
- Health and social care qualification at Level 3 or Level 5.
- Ideal teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Good English and maths skills, preferably to GCSE level or equivalent (C or above).
- Excellent IT skills and ability to navigate internal applications and use Microsoft packages.
