Your Opportunity

We’re currently expanding the team and are looking for people to join and support the continued growth and development of our Customer Insight & Data team. This team are specialists’ in helping Zurich UK truly understand our customer base and ensure we keep our customers at the heart of everything we do.
Your role could involve:
- Sourcing data in a secure manner
- Collating and formatting data to present for review and further analysis
- Blending data by combining it from various sources and formats to explore it’s relevance
- Analysing simple and complex data to support business outcomes, using different methods to analyse the data
- Collaborating with people at all levels with a view of creating value from the data

What can I look forward to?
During your apprenticeship you’ll:
- Learn how to understand and analyse customer requirements and then implement findings.
- Build data analysis skills to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop collaboration and communication skills that help you share our insights with stakeholders in a way that suits different audiences.
- Understand data, enabling you to make informed evidence-based decisions
- Use data visualisation tools to create infographics, reports, tables, dashboards and graphs and communicating data insights.
- Understand how to collate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
Alongside your day-to-day work, you’ll complete a Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship which will take around 18 months to complete. In addition to investing in your learning, we give you time to study as well as the opportunity to put what you learn into practice.
Your qualification is just the start of your career at Zurich. Once your apprenticeship is complete you will have plenty of opportunities to put your new skills into practice while continuing to develop and grow.

What you’ll need:
- Full right to work and reside in the UK - Due to government regulations, we cannot accept applications from those who require a visa to live and work in the UK. You must have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK and have resided here for a minimum of three consecutive years.
- A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English.
- A professional attitude with a positive ‘can do’ approach to your work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
NB: Due to Apprenticeship funding rules, we can only accept applicants who haven’t completed a qualification in the same field at the same or higher level to the course you are applying for
