Smart Awards is looking for experienced Independent End-Point Assessors (IEPAs) to assess apprentices against the Fencing Apprenticeship Standard. If you have industry expertise, assessment experience, and a commitment to upholding high standards in training and qualification, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
As an Independent End-Point Assessor, you will:
✔️ Conduct fair, valid, and robust assessments in line with EPA requirements
✔️ Ensure apprentices demonstrate competence in fencing installation, maintenance, and safety
✔️ Provide clear and constructive feedback while maintaining impartiality
✔️ Work closely with Smart Awards to uphold quality assurance and compliance
✔️ Travel to employer sites to conduct practical assessments
What We’re Looking For
🔹 Industry Experience: Strong background in fencing, with up-to-date technical knowledge
🔹 Assessment Experience: Ideally, EPA-qualified (L4 Award in End-Point Assessment) or willing to work towards it
🔹 Qualifications: Relevant industry certifications and assessing qualifications (D32/D33, A1, TAQA), and a valid CSCS Card.
🔹 Attention to Detail: Ability to apply assessment plans consistently and fairly
🔹 Communication Skills: Confident in providing detailed feedback and reports
