We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Lecturer to join our team in London. As a Business Lecturer, you will deliver dynamic lessons, support student growth, and contribute to their academic and professional success in a fast-evolving business world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across various business topics, including management, marketing, finance, economics, and entrepreneurship.
- Assessment & Feedback: Develop and administer assessments to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development and help students improve.
- Student Support: Offer individualised support to students, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their learning experience and help them meet their academic goals.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the business curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current industry practices, trends, and academic standards.
- Classroom Management: Maintain an inclusive and engaging learning environment, encouraging student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Industry Collaboration: Integrate real-world business examples and case studies into lessons to provide students with practical insights into the business world.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- A relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Proven experience teaching business-related subjects at Further Education or higher education level.
- Strong knowledge of business concepts, theories, and current industry practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to delivering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Desirable Skills & Attributes:
- Experience with industry-standard business software and tools.
- Ability to incorporate practical business scenarios and case studies into lessons to enhance student learning.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
