About The College
Northumberland College is the only college in the county serving, the communities of Northumberland, offering a diverse curriculum from Entry level to Level 6, discrete SEND provision and Apprenticeships.
We have three campuses based in Berwick, Ashington, and Kirkley Hall, and in October 2024 we achieved an Outstanding rating from Ofsted, in addition to being the top Performing Land based College in the Northeast.
Over recent years, the College has invested over £14million in new facilities at its sites and in 2026 Northumberland College will move to their sector leading £54 million Gen zero new build in Wansbeck. This will be the first of its kind in the England.

About The Candidate

The manager will be instrumental in ensuring that our curriculum remains relevant, incorporating the latest industry standards and trends.
The Curriculum Manager is pivotal in influencing the direction of our programs, ensuring they provide students with the best possible foundation for careers in engineering, automotive, and digital fields. - Leadership and management of curriculum.
- Leadership of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Leadership and Management of team.
- Maintenance of appropriate records and documentation.
- Maintenance of appropriate continuing professional development and general aspects of role.
Qualifications
- A minimum of level 5 qualification in a relevant subject area
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths

- Successfully leading and managing a high performing team
- Curriculum development and innovation.
- Improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Raising standards of student/apprentice experience, progress and destination.
- Links with industry to inform curriculum development/offer.
