About us
The department of Economics at the University of Bath promotes a vibrant research environment through our dynamic research groups.
Following a recent restructuring exercise, research is organised through five main groups: (I) Macro, Money, and Finance (II) Microeconomic Theory (III) Public and Political Economy (IV) Applied Economics: Labour, Education and Health (V) Sustainable Development.

About the role
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- produce high-quality and impactful research
- be passionate about research collaboration, with both internal and external partners (at national as well as international level)
- deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level
We invite applications from candidates with:
- strong potential (evidence of promise) for publications in leading Economics journals
- evidence of some high-quality and innovative teaching; and
- ability to teach a range of topics in core areas of Economics
