Role Overview
Join us as a Learning Experience Designer at Cambridge Spark, where your creativity will transform complex technical content into dynamic and engaging learning experiences. Collaborate with subject matter experts and product managers to develop exceptional learning modules that are tailored to learner needs while adhering to accessibility standards. Your work will invite learner feedback, fostering continuous improvement and innovation in our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Convert intricate technical content, crafted by data and AI experts, into engaging and accessible learning materials that clarify complex concepts.
- Learning Material Design: Create visually impactful and pedagogically sound materials that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Learning Module Development: Construct comprehensive learning modules within our innovative platform, combining various elements to ensure cohesive learner journeys.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with subject matter experts and product managers to uphold technical accuracy while delivering captivating and inclusive learning experiences.
- Feedback Implementation: Actively integrate learner feedback regarding design and user experience, cultivating continuous enhancements to our data and AI training materials.
- Accessibility: Guarantee all materials comply with accessibility standards, making necessary accommodations for diverse learner needs in our technical curriculum.
Candidate Specification:
Essential:
- Proven experience in instructional or learning design, especially in technical or STEM fields.
- Strong digital design skills, familiar with Google Workspace and Canva or similar tools.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and technologies aimed at enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
- Ability to storyboard and develop video learning content effectively.
- Experience creating modules within learning management systems or educational platforms.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to technical content.
- Design experience for learners with special educational needs.
- Exceptional visual communication skills for conveying complex information clearly.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with technical subject matter experts.
- Impeccable attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality learning assets.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and their implementation in digital learning materials.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Desirable:
- Experience in developing materials for apprenticeship programs.
- Knowledge of executive education program design.
