About the Role
As a People Experience Business Administrator Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and earn alongside our established office team, receiving continuous support to develop into a professional role.
Your duties will include supporting administration while also contributing to projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive office administration services while being responsive to business needs.Welcome visitors warmly and answer phone calls in a polite, professional manner, relaying clear messages when necessary.Manage correspondence by responding to emails and handling incoming and outgoing mail.Maintain effective systems to ensure all filing and databases are up-to-date.Support service delivery processes, including ensuring compliance, collecting activity logs, and updating systems.Coordinate holidays for the office team and Care Professionals.Coordinate Care Professional retention activities, such as newsletters and Care Professional of the Month recognition.Process invoices and follow up with clients and suppliers as needed.Assist with the reconciliation of bank statements and preparation of monthly accounts.Contribute to projects and IT initiatives as required.Manage office supplies to ensure they meet the needs of the office.Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy regarding employment and service delivery.Perform any other duties deemed essential for the successful operation of the business.
Requirements
You must possess:
GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English (grades 4-9).
Please inform us of any relevant qualifications or industry experience you may have, and we will adjust the apprenticeship accordingly.
Apprenticeship Details
National Minimum Wage: £18,200 per year.
The hourly rate will be between £10 and £12.21, with a potential six-month probationary period.
Courses and Training: Business Administrator (Level 3).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, hours to be confirmed at interview stages.
Weekly Working Hours: 37 hours.
Possible Start Date: Thursday, April 17th.
Duration: 1 year and 6 months.
