The main function of this role is supporting learners outside of the classroom, providing targeted intervention to learners studying GCSE or Functional Skills in Maths and English. This position would work in small groups and 1:1 with leaners who require intervention to prevent them from being disadvantaged by a learning or support need. The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in delivering learning support in literacy and numeracy; will have achieved GCSE English and Maths to at least grade 4 (or equivalent); and should have an appropriate teacher qualification or be willing to work towards achieving it. Hours available, 16 hours per week x 30 weeks, Term Time Only.
