We are looking for an Apprenticeship Manager to join our Apprenticeships team. We particularly welcome applications from candidates that have experience of teaching, assessing and/or leading Apprenticeship provision in the Construction and Building Services subject areas. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return we will offer a competitive salary of £54,210-£60,637 pa inclusive of London Weighting (1 FTE). The Apprenticeship Manager role: Reporting to the Head of Department, the Apprenticeship Manager will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of a designated Apprenticeship area(s). This includes ensuring good people and resource management practices, successful achievement of qualifications as well as the overall learning, progression and experience of Apprentices and Employers. Working closely with the Head of Department, the Apprenticeship Manager will develop the curriculum intent to reflect sector and industry changes as well as local, national and global reforms. The Apprenticeship Manager role carries a teaching commitment of 10 hours per week. Key Responsibilities of this role: Monitor the design of the curriculum to ensure apprenticeship standard knowledge, skills and behaviours, core skills and other relevant work related training are fully planned. Review and monitor the quality of the relevant planning and teaching resources to deliver high quality training including course outline; scheme of work; lesson plans; assessment requirements planned Support and monitor the delivery of the standard implementation plan to meet planned starts. End Point Assessment (EPA) systems and Processes Agree and implement milestones for progress monitoring and EPA gateway on e-portfolio. Promote and support the development and effective application EPA planning processes and systems Monitor the quality of the programme delivery to achieve an outstanding learner experience and high outcomes. Our ideal Apprenticeship Manager should have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Cert Ed/PGCE or relevant teaching/training qualification Degree or equivalent qualification Appropriate Level 3 subject specialism Experience of developing and delivering successful teaching and learning strategies that promote inclusive learning and engage learners Demonstrable experience of leading teams and individuals including staff development and mentoring Experience of working to the Common Inspection Framework Experience of liaison with awarding bodies If you are passionate about success and can do the above, then we want to hear from you!
