Take the lead as the Curriculum Area Manager for Creative Industries at Yeovil College, where you'll shape innovative programs and inspire the next generation of creative professionals.
As a key member of the Management Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of education at Yeovil College. Working closely with fellow leaders and cross-college managers, you'll provide inspiring curriculum leadership that sets the benchmark for excellence.
Your leadership will ensure the highest educational standards, while also safeguarding health and safety, managing budgets, and empowering staff to deliver an exceptional learning experience. Beyond this, you'll drive student recruitment, retention, and achievement, collaborate with industry stakeholders to keep our curriculum cutting-edge, and spearhead income growth. By occasionally stepping into the classroom, you'll not only teach but also model the high standards you expect from your team.
What we're looking for:
· Knowledge of current developments across creative industries.
· Relevant experience in at least one aspect of the creative industries curriculum area.
· Ability to demonstrate successful leadership of diverse curriculum teams.
· Ability to develop an understanding of the usage of data to monitor and improve performance.
· A relevant degree in creative industries subject along with a teaching qualification.
· A passion for inspiring learners and drive to continuously improve the learner experience.
· Ability to work, influence and motivate at all levels of the organisation.
· Strong leadership and persuasive skills.

· Annual Salary: £47,021 up to £60,173
· Full-time position, 37 hours per week, all year round.
