Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be engaging with learners and enjoy travelling as part of the job role.</p><p>In the first instance, please upload your CV, if shortlisted you will recieve a Train'd Up application form, this must be completed in full prior to any interview being organised.</p><p><b>POST:</b> Data Technician Assessor / Tutor</p><p><b>REPORTS TO:</b> Head of Department (STEM & Business Development)</p><p><b>OVERALL PURPOSE:</b> To demonstrate a high quality of professional practice and provide quality teaching, devise action plans and maintain appropriate records. We welcome applications from both qualified Tutor / Assessors (i.e. those holding teaching and assessing qualifications), and industry qualified Data Technicians / Proccessors / Analysts seeking a new rewarding career in education and training. Applicants must be willing to travel nationally as part of the job role.</p><p><b>SALARY:</b> £38,000 - £40,000</p><p> <b>MAIN DUTIES:</b></p><ul><li>To teach and assess, using a hybrid learning approach, including a mix of live e-learning tutorials, classroom delivery, and work-based assessment on the Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship Standard.</li><li>To take responsibility for specific areas of work within the Data Technician curriculum.</li><li>To provide accurate and informative information, advice and guidance to learners.</li><li>To operate as an effective member of the delivery team and to work closely with other areas of the business.</li><li>To carry out administrative duties associated with teaching and assessment, including maintenance of class registers, schemes of work, work-based assessments, academic and work-based progress reports, course records and course evaluations to a high standard and within agreed timescales.</li><li>To ensure safe working practices are observed by yourself and others (including learners) for whom you are responsible.</li><li>To provide such returns or reports as may from time to time as required by the Head of Department (STEM & Business Development).</li><li>To assist in the recruitment of learners, including interviewing and enrolments.</li><li>To assist in the marketing and promotion of Train’d Up provision.</li><li>To assist in the development of curriculum teaching support and assessment materials.</li><li>To assist with programmes of work experience and/or industrial and commercial liaison, including the organisation and monitoring of work experience placements.</li><li>To ensure the principles of equality and diversity are upheld.</li><li>To maintain plant and machinery where practicable.</li></ul><p> <b>ADDITIONAL DUTIES:</b></p><ul><li>Undertake additional duties as required.</li><li>To ensure Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures are adhered to and safe working practices are observed by you and others (including learners) for whom they are responsible.</li><li>To promote the company ethos with regard to Equality and Diversity and act as a role model.</li><li>You will be required to become qualified as a First Aider.</li><li>To take part in approved staff development as part of the Train’d Up staff development programme.
