As an integral member of the Fire Service College management team, the Training Delivery Manager has the overarching accountability for the successful delivery of all training activities related to the Defence Fire & Rescue Program (DFRP). This includes the fulfilment of all obligations under the contract including ownership of the budget, management of all internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers and adherence to all health & safety and other regulatory requirements at all times. This is a Hybrid role working between home and The Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh (approx. 50/50) Job title: DFRP Training and Delivery Manager Job Description: What you’ll be doing: Managing a team that delivers Fire and Rescue training to approximately 1800 trainees per annum over 40 training courses at the Fire Service College Ensuring that Fire and Rescue Training is delivered in compliance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and Training Requirements Authority (TRA) requirements Stakeholder management Managing budgets Delivering reports against KPI’s Contributing to training design and course requirements What we’re looking for: Working knowledge of DSAT and TRA Excellent Stakeholder management experience Understanding of fire and rescue training Previous experience in aviation fire and rescue or Defence fire & rescue is highly desirable Good track record of delivering against budget/P&L.
