Job Title Digital Skills Trainer Job Description What you’ll be doing: Designing and delivering training programmes to groups of educators focused on the effective implementation of iPads in learning Designing and building digital content for educators to access on demand to support their own development Undertaking lesson observations and learning walks to identify development opportunities for individuals and groups of educators Coaching and supporting educators to identify opportunities to implement appropriate opportunities to digitally-enable their delivery Providing advice on the optimisation of learning by the promotion of quality-first teaching specifically to support those with an SpLD and/or neurodiversity requirement in the learning environment. Motivating, inspiring, encouraging and supporting Educators to achieve a high-quality learning environment which has a positive impact for learners What We’re Looking For Teaching qualification at Level 5 or higher is desirable Significant experience of using iPads/iOS or other devices in teaching, learning and assessment Experience of building content and supporting/delivering training through Virtual Learning Environments (VLE’s) Teaching/training experience (Post-16) is desirable Recognised digital learning certifications is desirable, such as Apple Professional Learning Specialist, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level About Selborne Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN.
