Role is offered 35 weeks per yearWe are looking for a highly organised and methodical Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) Assessor to join our Team. The post holder will work across both campuses (Sparsholt and Andover). We are open to the working pattern adopted and applications will be considered from applicants who wish to work full-time (37 hours per week) or substantial part-time (a minimum of 21 hours per week). Please set out in your application submission your preferred working arrangement. The Sparsholt Campus offers a Land-based curriculum whilst the Andover Campus offers a generalist FE provision. At both campuses we work with young people who face barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs and those with an EHCP. This post provides an excellent opportunity for someone with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students and providing the support needed to ensure that they can achieve. Responsibilities include: • Undertake diagnostic assessment for the purposes of exam access arrangements to meet JCQ and awarding body requirements. • Complete relevant forms and file notes in line with JCQ and other awarding body regulations and maintain the college database enabling staff to access accurate EAA information. • In collaboration with other colleagues contribute to the smooth running of the established EAA process. • Promote contemporary approaches and best practices in supporting educators and neurodiverse learners to progress and achieve positive outcomes Successful candidates will need to have: • Level 7 or higher SpLD Assessors Qualification or equivalent e.g., CPT3A, PATOSS AAA holders, PAPAA, ETAAC, CCET/AAC. • A teaching qualification at Level 4 or above • Excellent IT skills using the Microsoft Office suite • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in report writing. • A “can-do” attitude with a passion of working with and supporting young people Closing Date: 27 November 2024We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient applications be received.
