Yeovil College is hiring a Study Programme Manager for Foundation Learning to lead the delivery of high-quality English and Maths education. In this exciting role, you will coordinate and manage Foundation Learning programmes, ensuring that learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receive the tailored support they need to thrive. In this key role, you'll oversee the delivery of engaging and effective English and Maths lessons, utilising the latest teaching practices to support SEND learners in their learning journey. You will closely monitor each learner's progress, offering timely feedback and interventions to ensure they stay on track and achieve their goals. Alongside this, you’ll support learners in line with college procedures, helping to foster a positive, supportive learning environment. You will also play a critical role in tracking course recruitment, attendance, retention, and achievement, ensuring performance targets are met and addressing any concerns with the Curriculum Area Manager. What we're looking for: Experience of teaching students with SEND in either mainstream school, college or a specialist provision A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
