Are you looking for a new challenge with a fast-paced business? We are looking for an ESOL expert to join us as a Functional Skills Trainer at an exciting time of growth. You will be an integral member of our learner-facing team, working closely with the Quality Coach team to ensure each learner progresses meaningfully through their learning journey. Your Role Will Include: Responsibility for the full delivery and assessment of English and Maths up to level 2. Acting as the team’s ESOL specialist, using your proven track record of excellence to develop our team and support our ESOL learners. Adapting delivery and assessment as appropriate to meet a range of participants’ needs. Working with our ALN specialist to provide tailored support for learners requiring adjustments, to ensure equitable access to learning success. Reviewing learning materials and delivery methods in line with company standards and using your knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Consistently reviewing and assessing learner progress. Being motivational and driving learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines. Adhering to organisational and funding requirements to ensure compliance with ESFA and Ofsted regulation. Qualifications and Experience: A proven track record of successfully teaching English Language skills to speakers of other languages, tailoring lessons to the needs and abilities of learners. Hold a recognised qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign or Second Language (e.g. CELTA, CertTESOL). Proven experience in delivering Functional Skills, face-to-face and virtually, for both maths and English. Willingness to travel to support learners around the UK when needed. A high level of attention to detail and organisational ability to work across multiple areas of the business effectively. What We Offer: Competitive salary range of £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.
