You will mark and assess learner projects, setting high expectations and motivating them to be the best they can be. You will be a role model, providing our learners with innovative, practical and employment-led training. <br/><br/> You will ensure a positive learning environment by effectively managing classroom behaviour; using various teaching techniques to engage and motivate students from different backgrounds and abilities. You will collaborate with others to share best practices and ensure that our learners get the highest quality experience. You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team. <br/><br/> About you <br/><br/> You will have up-to-date knowledge and an understanding of Esports and game engines (Unity/Unreal Engine), desirable skills would include an understanding of Game Art, character art, animation 2D and 3D, experience using Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, 3D modelling software and the pipeline surrounding the creation of game assets. You will have theoretical knowledge across the broad spectrum of games, for example, job roles and skills, world-building, and story progression. <br/><br/> Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related subject area and maths and English qualifications at level 2 or above. <br/><br/> A teaching qualification is desirable but if you don’t have one, we can provide you with training that is transferable throughout the FE sector. <br/><br/> Diversity and open expression are fundamental to creativity.
