<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd"><html><body><p/><div><p><b>Media Lecturer</b></p><p><b> Access Creative College London</b></p><p> Full-Time & Part-Time Hours Available</p><p/><p><b><br/> About The Role</b></p><p> Working with the media team and the Assistant Head of Curriculum for Games, Media and Esports, you’ll help deliver and develop our Digital Media curriculum at our campus in London. <b>The campus is a </b><b>brand new, purpose-built and designed 19,000 square foot site on Commercial Road in London’s East End that has quickly become a creative hub for gaming, esports, music, media and computing.</b></p><p/><p><br/> The successful candidate will be inspirational in their teaching methods, meeting our learners' needs by sharing their knowledge and experience with them. The post holder will deliver inclusive, engaging and creative content through taught sessions across the week; marking and assessing learner projects and setting high expectations that motivate our young people to be the best that they can be. Our lecturers help our learners to understand the link between their education and the potential for their future careers in the creative industries. The role involves working at the core of the student experience. As well as teaching and assessment, you will be coordinating resources, managing student activities, developing industry links and course marketing.</p><p/><p><b><br/> About You</b></p><p> You’ll quickly become an integral part of our well-established and tight-knit team with a support service provided by our Central Team. Working at Access Creative College means working with learners who are engaged, enthusiastic and passionate about the education they are gaining. <b>You will be a role model, </b><b>providing our learners with innovative, practical and employment-led training.</b></p><p/><p><br/> You’ll have experience working within the creative media industry, or maybe you’re a recent graduate with a relevant degree. <b>You will have skills and experience within one or more of the following areas: </b><b>Animation (2D/3D) & VFX, Post Production (incl After Effects), Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Film, Videography, Photography</b>; and you’ll be familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar applications. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with young people, either through mentoring, guest lecturing or another education or support-focused role.</p><p/><p><br/> If you’ve previously worked in further education and have a teaching qualification, that would be the icing on the cake! For those who aren’t qualified, we will fund your teacher training and you’ll gain a qualification that’s transferable throughout the FE sector.</p><p/><p><br/> No candidate will meet every single desired requirement.
